There is no time in history when the church was more effective than it was in the 1st century. The secret is very obvious and it is found in Acts 1:14…. it is in the phrase “One Accord”. It means literally “the same passion”. Can you imagine what ministry would take place if everyone had the “same passion”.
I am not talking about being “cookie cutter” Christians… I am talking about everyone using the gifts and talents that God entrusted them with for God’s Glory. That means that as a ministry… our passion is to be effective in serving Christ. That means working through problems, that means serving as a team, that means dealing with the short comings in our own lives.
We have a great privilege as NT Christians…. and this is a great time to be “salt & light” before an unsaved world. Let’s encourage each other in the Lord and stay in “One Accord”.
